Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment is very effective in the improvement of dark patches and brown skin blemishes with a very high safety margin.
Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment’s principal action is the reduction and blending of melanin patches on the face (melasma and chloasma).
Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment involves a very versatile, dynamic process which is easily adapted to the needs of each individual patient.
Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment action is based on the inhibition of tyrosinase, a basic enzyme in the melanin formation process. Several of the substances present in the Dermamelan® formula act by blocking this melanin-producing enzyme. The technical terminology is: Melanogenesis comprises the following stages:

In everyday language, it simply means that your skin is making too much melanin and when it surfaces, you have brownish patches on your skin that are very resistant to lightening efforts.
The Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment offers a series of major advantages and benefits compared with other types of depigmentation products found in the market:
In most cases, the brown areas begin lightening rapidly.
ONE WEEK after starting the Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment, a noticeable significant improvement of the skin is observed.
At the end of the Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment, the areas start to fade away altogether, so that, although the patient may be able to “locate” the place where the discoloration was, the truth is that the pigmentation will have blended usually to the point that a casual observer would not notice it. Some patients have especially dramatic response.
Important: it must be known if the patient has undergone any previous treatments, especially with glycolic acid. If confirmed, any treatment, especially Glycolic Acid, must be eliminated at least one week prior to using Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment. The Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment initiated at the medical office must be continued at home, on a daily basis, according to the guidelines indicated.
The treatment must not be interrupted under any circumstances, during the whole time prescribed.
It is completely forbidden to combine the Dermamelan® Depigmentation treatment with other depigmentation treatments, as the appearance of undesired effects cannot be guaranteed.
Follow up visits are recommended 15 days after the beginning of treatment, and 30 days after.
Dermamelan Depigmentation Treatment consists of two phases. It is imperative that both be used according to direction to achieve complete success.
Phase 1 – For professional use only.
Dermamelan Mask is applied in office and left on the skin for a period of time which is determined by the professional according to skin colour and type. The mask is removed with mesoestetic® Cleaner and followed by an application of Hydravital Factor K Cream.
Phase 2 – At home maintenance.
Dermamelan M is applied at home according to the recommended protocol of the professional and is followed daily with Hydravital Factor K Cream and Total Moisturizing Sun Block. The objective of this highly effective maintenance cream is to ensure the continued depigmentation of skin discolorations while restoring luminosity.
Results
Dermamelan Depigmentation Treatment is effective in reducing up to 95% of pigmentation on the surface of the skin. 30 days after the initial Dermamelan 1 Mask application, a noticeable difference will be seen, and will continue to improve over time with the use of Dermamelan 2.
